Thyme cottage is situated in the quiet rustic little suburb of Irene, which is a quiet suburb, historically relevant as it houses the Boer War Concentration Camp Cemetery and was part of General Jan Smuts Farm. The Irene Dairy Farm forms a border along with two other golf courses. Centurion is situated between Pretoria and Johannesburg and half an hours drive to OR Thambo airport.
